My Family
I have been blessed with a wonderful family. My husband, Chad, and I have been married since 2000. He is an avid golfer and has persuaded me to take up the sport. It is a great family activity that we enjoy during the spring, summer, and fall.
We have two daughters, Lauren (11) and Megan (9). I feel very fortunate that I was able to be a stay at home mom with my girls for 5 years. Lauren and Megan keep us very busy. They are involved in soccer, golf, volleyball, and basketball.
I earned my Bachelor's degree at Creighton University in 1998. (Go Jays!) I began my teaching career at Belleaire Elementary. I taught 3rd/ 4th grade for 5 years. Then, when Lauren came along I decided to stay home. I continued to substitute teach during this time. While I was a stay at home mom, I earned my Master's Degree in Instructional Technology from Peru State College. I returned to Belleaire in 2008 to teach 3rd grade again. In 2012, I joined the Two Springs team. I became a math specialist through a program called Primarily Math at University of Nebraska-Lincoln. This program has transformed how I teach math.
In my free time (what little there is) I enjoy running. I love listening to music while I run. It's my escape and stress reliever.
Two Springs is a wonderful school that is filled with positive and caring people! I look forward to working with your family.
